This weekend I will be forced to come up with topics of discussion to divert attention that would be focused on me. This will be some miracle if I can manage to achieve this goal.
maybe instead of arriving with a list to talk about, I'll just dig deeper into what is made available.... that will be better.... and believe me, there is ample material!
bye for now.

Vegas for beginners
Sweetie and I went to Las Vegas to celebrate his birthday. ALLOT to learn for newbies, but once you catch on it's fun!
My first strange encounter was right after we checked into the MGM. Our room was not yet ready, and so the front desk suggested that we check our bags in with the bell desk. We made our way over to the bell desk line as there were many other people checking in...
So we handed our bags to the bell guy, and after I thanked him he held the claim ticket and looked at me... I was expecting our claim ticket, but he did nothing but stand there, all the while I was thinking "why is this guy not giving me the ticket". Anyways, thank goodness for Paul. During the awkward silence he realized that the bell guy wanted a tip before he would give us the claim ticket. He handed him some cash, and then we went on our merry way.
I felt so silly, but my logic was telling me that I was supposed to get something before I gave a tip. Oh well. Lesson learned.
Next time, I'll be sure to book our flight and arrival time for later in the day. This way, our room should be available when we arrive. Keep the cash flow to a minimum.

The sandbox
I have to apply what I've learned from past experiences when playing sandbox games.
There needs to be more laughter in the world.
Sweetie is finally feeling better, recovering from his business trips. I think we may take a trip to Northwest Trek for a hike on his birthday. He doesnt have any wish list, but silly things amuse him. I hope he enjoys the adventure.
I'm still THRILLED that Marcus Trufant and Lofa Tutupu have decided to stay with the Seahawks!!!!
I'm suspecting that we got a variety of opponents this next season so the NFL would make it more difficult for Seattle to maintain the lead in the NFC west. We get no respect. I believe our next season will be a fun one. WHOOO HOOO!!
back to the sandbox.....my time to play with the grown ups is rapidly approaching.

The titles should get here someday
I learned something today that made my heart ache. I'm one who is generally happen when things like this happen it, but I have to be honest and say that it came way to close to home. Life goes on, but I don't know how much longer I can be numb to the whole meaning of it.....
Sweetie got home last night. I missed him allot, although I wish I could have stayed longer to hang out with Judy at "Garage". I was glad we got together to celebrate her change!!!
I have never really thought that Easter was an occasion for giving gifts...... other than $5.00 and some candy with colored eggs, but I feel like I'm not up to par with the rest of my family.
my resolve: let them have Easter with the kids.... I can take a back seat.
to harsh? Oh well, they know I love them.
